Crock Pot Cheesesteak Tortellini – Easy Crockpot Dinner Recipe (Version 1)
Ingredients
- 1½ lbs shaved steak (ribeye, sirloin, or ground beef also work)
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 bell peppers, sliced (any color)
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced (optional)
- 3 cups beef broth
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
- 20 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp salt, or to taste
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Chopped fresh parsley (optional garnish)
Directions
- Brown the Meat (Optional Step) In a skillet over medium-high heat, quickly cook the shaved steak or ground beef until just browned. Remove from heat and drain any excess grease.
- Add to Slow Cooker Transfer the beef to the crock pot. Add onions, bell peppers, mushrooms (if using), broth, and seasonings. Stir everything together to evenly distribute flavors.
- Slow Cook Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours. The beef should be tender and the vegetables soft.
